Hello drummers!

Our church is about to re-vamp our music ministry and really take things up a notch as quickly as we can. That being said, we might soon be interested in other instruments as well -live string instruments, secondary keyboard, you name it- so if you are a musician who is interested in playing with other great players please reply to this.
Each player who responds will be given about 3 songs (4/4 ballad, 6/8, 4/4 upbeat etc) to listen to prior coming and playing with the praise team to give you the benefit of knowing the style that each player will be playing with.
We do play with orchestra players on occasion, and with specific charts tied to a click track, reading is obviously a plus but not required. We are primarily a rhythm band.
We use click tracks/backing instruments under in-ears on some songs to help fill out the mix so a comfort level playing with a click is mandatory. As a drummer, that seems to come with the territory, but is still worth saying haha.
We have fantastic players already in place so I really believe from a musical standpoint this will be a very satisfying experience. Given that we are a church and we meet every Sunday and Wednesday, attending both of those days is pretty much a lock; it isnt a once a month type of thing for any of us on stage. Plainly put, we are gladly members of our church body. We are far from bored. We enjoy leading the worship times at church and believe that as many people who respond to this can too.
